Queerfest is an event created to showcase, celebrate and empower local queer artists of all ages. The event includes queer-based music, slam poetry, youth drag show, locally active organizations and community members like YOU.
The local music and art scene has always had queer / marginalized folx within, but rarely do the two intertwine. Queerfest is an event that recognizes the local queer musicians and artists who make up the community we live in. Right now our world needs folx empowering others to be their truest and best selves, and Queerfest hopes to help in doing that here in Lincoln, NE.
Queerfest is an ALL AGES event.
